A dystopian vignette for you…

In order to to understand how Gilda Brown might have helped save the world, a list of things that could be bullet points: let’s say that as a teacher, along with 100,000 other teachers since the 1980s who taught in the Anglophone world for more than twenty years. And at the international level; pressurizing the mass media, then later in the social media, then all the young people educated in this way would have successfully seized power, since its always a question of organizations. Climate change and the limits of growth could have been managed and the rise in temperature held at 1 or 1.5 degrees… (Sadly of course instead of saving the civilization Gilda Brown spent wonderful holidays in the maldives, mexico and in italy with a gentleman who worked for BP. This man always hired four seat convertibles. So that the drive around the mountains from the villas to the sea, created such beautiful erotic moments. It was from this handsome fossil fuel man that she heard the phrase “a matter of organization” as he show her the plans for the new oil and gas pipelines. She was happy.) It was only later as the temperature reached 3 degrees and her mother died of heatstroke that she thought about acting… Too late for Gilda for her past was effectively over as it hit 3 degrees. As she lived in the ruins and ran out of water in a two week period of 45 degrees of heat, she thought of the necessity of organizing. It was left to others to decide that she should be left to die because she was after all useless.
