1951 29th August: Stephen Ekelos born in Barnet, England.

1953 Birth of twin Sister and Brother

1958 Family moves to N’wich.

1962 Starts writing prose and poetry.

1965 Family moves to the southern outer suburbs of London

1972/ 1975 During this year attends college in London, moves around the inner suburbs of London in a clockwise direction. After graduating does an MA studying Film, Linguistics and lierary theory. Becomes a member of international socialist. Active in literary groups.

1978 Publication of Texts; prose and poetry.

1980 Publication of Texts 2;

1982 PhD at O. Moves to C and studies Ideology and Science.

1983 Joins editorial board of S

1985 Becomes engaged to Wanda Margit, married in late November. Two weeks of study in Clarte.

1989 Works as a lecturer at ….

1990 Travels to NYC with partner. Impressions of the journey form the early structure of Texts 3 and 4

1992 Publication of She Smiles (novel) and Texts 5

1994 After the death of the child, separates from partner. Lives in Paris.France and Germany. Attempts suicide.

1995 Lives in N. London, begins psychoanalysis — which continues for 8 years.

1997 Publication of Succulent, (novel)

1998 Publication of Texts 6 — travels to greece with a new partner, name unknown. They stay together until he dies.

1999 Travels to Tunisa during the summer.

2003 Works on Texts 7 and 8, The unfinished and untitled utopian novel.

2005 Vanishes with the anonymous partner.

2006 Publication after vanishing of Texts 7, 8, 9 and the two novels.
