He went on serving drinks to the lunchtime crowd, soon to be replaced by the afternoon crowd. He had a quick chat with the new waitress who lives in S’ditch on the street Micheal and the Angels. She asked him if he knew the area. He told her he used to live close by before moving into the Angel. They exchanged notes on the districts to the east of the cafe. She knew her way around Islington. There was still places where someone like her could live. He was pretty sure this place was ending for him. He would have to vanish soon.
